Case Study : Yorkshire Choice Awards 2017
The annual Yorkshire Choice Awards recognise local people and independent businesses that are an inspiration in their field and who go that extra mile. The 2017 Yorkshire Choice Awards ceremony took place at The Centenary Pavilions at Leeds United football ground on Elland Road on 1 April 2017. The black-tie ceremony, with gala dinner and live music, was hosted by influential regional journalist and broadcaster Christa Ackroyd and attended by 600 guests. Pixelwave Creative was selected as the video production partner for the event.
How we worked with Yorkshire Choice Awards
Pixelwave Creative stepped in to help film the Yorkshire Choice Awards ceremony with just two weeks to go before the event following a social media request from the organisers. Despite the short notice, we were able to provide events videography, working discreetly and unobtrusively to capture a great night that celebrated the success and achievements of Yorkshire people and businesses while raising money for charity. We then edited footage and produced a highlights film in less than two weeks following the ceremony.
Jo Maltby, co-founder of the Yorkshire Choice Awards, says: “Pixelwave recently covered our Yorkshire Choice Awards and did an exceptional job. From the moment they arrived at the event to the finished product, we received a professional and swift service. Enormous thanks to the extremely talented Pixelwave Creative. We would definitely recommend their services.”
