Introducing Angus: Our New Apprentice

pixelwave apprentice

In November, we started the hunt for a new Creative & Digital Media Apprentice, as part of an exciting time of growth for our company.

And, in true Lord Sugar style, we’re pleased to say: “Angus, you’re hired!”

At Pixelwave Creative, we work with a wide variety of businesses across a range of sectors, so wanted to find a creative, passionate and tech savvy individual to help us with all stages of video production.

Up stepped Angus – enthusiastic, mature, committed to a career in the creative industry and with a great work ethic. Not only that, but he is a talented illustrator with a good eye for visuals, too.

JP say: “We are passionate about helping apprentices reach their full potential at work and really looking forward to helping Angus develop his skills over the course of his apprenticeship”

“Angus is enthusiastic and motivated, and his willingness to learn means the team will be able to take on even more exciting projects in 2020.”

Tell us about your background

I have always been a creative minded person, fascinated by every aspect of design. I went to Liverpool to study Illustration and Graphic Design at university.

I learned a great deal of how I could apply my creativity in the corporate world, and it really confirmed to me that I wanted to be part of an industry that is full of creative innovation.

After spending six months in Barcelona, I moved to Bury where I am now looking forward to learning the trade of video production.

What are you most looking forward to?

I’m most looking forward to having a vision and presenting it in the form of video. I really enjoy the idea of telling a story in the most effective way possible.

Furthermore, I am excited to work with a variety of clients. I believe Pixelwave Creative holds great values regarding the clients it works with and the messages it communicates, and I can’t wait to be part of that!

Welcome to Pixelwave Creative, Angus!
