Well done to Moin Younis

What a delight to see Moin Younis win a Pride of Britain Award on ITV this month – it comes a year after Pixelwave Creative had the pleasure of filming the witty teenager.

Moin Younis, a 17-year-old from Birmingham, suffers from one of the rarest skin conditions in the world, and faces unimaginable pain every day.

Last year, we filmed with Moin for the 2016 Midlands Children of Courage Awards, where he won the Special Recognition Award, and were so amazed at his positive outlook.

JP Woffenden, managing director at Pixelwave Creative, says: “Moin is mature beyond his years, with such a great attitude to life in general and a desire to help others. He’s very quick-witted too, so it has been no surprise to see headlines from this year’s Pride of Britain Awards calling Moin a ‘legend’ and someone who had the ‘audience in hysterics’.”

Moin, from Handsworth Wood in Birmingham, was presented with the Teenager of Courage accolade at the Pride of Britain Awards by David Beckham.
