Pixelwave Creative is proud to have been involved with an innovative charity art project that celebrates local businesses and individuals who support the Mayor of Bury’s chosen charities.
Every year, the Mayor chooses individuals and organisations within the Borough of Bury to receive charitable donations during their year in office.
‘The People’s Art’, launched by the Mayor (Councillor Dorothy Gunther), is a new charity art wall at Bury Town Hall designed to help raise funds for these charities.
Created in partnership with the Mayor’s Charity Committee, artist E. Anthony Orme and G J Plastics, The People’s Art will be a permanent reminder of the businesses, voluntary groups and individuals that have raised funds for the charities.
The Pixelwave Creative team was delighted to capture the launch of the wall and we’ve produced a film featuring interviews with those behind the installation.
The art includes shields engraved with the names of those that give a donation to the Mayor’s charities and we’re thrilled to join 20 local businesses in our place on the wall.
